一、該院訂於本年8月26日至28日與EMBO合辦為期 3日之「Starting Your Own Lab」線上工作坊，上課時間為每日下午時段（內容詳附件海報及網站)。

二、本課程旨在協助年輕研究學者籌建獨立實驗室。工作坊以英文進行且採互動式教學，學員須全程參加。訓練對象以成立實驗室5年內之新進實驗室主持人（Junior PIs /Group leaders），或已進入聘任協商階段、即將接任獨立計畫主持人職位者為優先。訓練名額限18位臺灣學研機構之研究學者，報名至本年7月20日截止，以報名先後及資格符合程度為錄取順序，惟該院仍保有最終名額分配與核定之權利。

I. The institute will co-host a 3-day online workshop, "Starting Your Own Lab," with EMBO from August 26th to 28th this year. Classes will be held daily in the afternoon (details are in the attached poster and website).

II. This course aims to assist young researchers in establishing independent laboratories. The workshop will be conducted in English and will employ interactive teaching methods. Participants are required to attend all sessions. Priority will be given to newly established lab principal investigators (Junior PIs/Group leaders) within the past 5 years, or those who are in the appointment negotiation stage and about to take over as principal investigators of independent projects. The training is limited to 18 researchers from Taiwanese academic institutions. Applications close on July 20th this year, and admission will be based on a first-come, first-served basis, but the institute reserves the right to final allocation and approval of places.
