Project Objectives: To subsidize academia and promote original research results with significant commercial potential to the market, increasing the commercialization potential of R&D results and achieving the goal of spawning new startups or connecting cross-ministerial startup resources for succession incubation.
Project Formats:
1. **Emerging Project (**Since the previous phase, the National Science Council only accepts applications for the Outstanding Project if the biomedical field involves medical device or drug certification; otherwise, applications for either the Emerging Project or the Outstanding Project are acceptable.):** Research results with commercial potential, a preliminary commercial concept, aiming to verify market demand, establish a feasible business model, and complete a commercial prototype.
2. **Outstanding Project:** The same technology has previously performed well in the Emerging Project or has been assessed by the research and industrialization platform as having significant development potential. Applicants must submit an evaluation report from qualified investors, a suitable candidate for CEO/COO of the future startup, proof of a technology valuation application submitted to the implementing agency for the use of intellectual property rights, and an intellectual property list before applying.
Funding Amount:
1. Budding Project: NT$8 million (principle) / within 1 year
2. Advanced Project: NT$15 million (principle) / within 1 year

Platform Review and Recommendation:
1. Projects must be submitted through the "Research Achievement Commercialization Platform." National Cheng Kung University is one of the leading universities and will be responsible for reviewing, recommending, and submitting projects from alliance universities.
2. After the platform submission deadline, an "Alliance Review Meeting" will be held on March 2nd (Monday) and March 3rd (Tuesday). Project leaders must make time to attend the review meeting and give their presentations. If recommended, we will assist in adjusting the content of the project brief and submitting it to the National Science Council.
