Subject: NSTC is soliciting proposals for the 2026 "Core Computing Resources Project," open for submission from now until February 5, 2026 (internal submissions only).
Instructions:
1. To improve research computing resources, the NSTC Natural Resources Division is publicly soliciting proposals for the project. It is recommended that applicant institutions use their Computer Information Centers or equivalent units as the integration basis. Applicants and project leaders must carefully read this solicitation notice.
2. The attached documents are available for review, or can be downloaded from the "Project Solicitation Section" under "News" on the NSTC website or the Natural Resources Division's announcement page.
3. Please apply online through the NSTC "Special Research Project / (Proposal Category) Core Computing Resources" section. Successful applicants will be notified to submit their detailed proposals. The project implementation period is expected to begin on May 1, 2026, subject to NSTC's actual approval date.
