The National Science Council (NSC) is soliciting applications for the "1st Phase of Industry-Academia Collaborative Research Projects, 2026". Applicants must complete their online application process by 8:00 AM on Tuesday, January 6th, 2026 (the deadline for internal applications). Late applications will not be accepted.
【Project Summary Instructions】 (Please refer to the attached document for details)
I. Project Objectives: To promote pioneering and practical research in applied technologies and knowledge from academia and encourage enterprises to actively participate in applied research.
II. Project Types: Individual projects and single-integration projects.
III. Implementation Period: Effective June 1st, 2026. Applicants should self-assess and apply for single-year or multi-year projects (limited to three years). Multi-year projects will be approved on an annual basis.
IV. Project Types: Divided into engineering science fields (engineering technology, life sciences, natural sciences) and humanities fields.
V. Funding Requirements for Collaborating Enterprises: Please refer to the NSC Industry-Academia Collaborative Research Project Application Guidelines Summary Table, Attachment 04. VI. Matters Requiring Cooperation from Applicants:
(I) Please remember to update your academic publications (Form C302) on the National Science Council website, attached file 05.
(II) Please be sure to use the latest version of the application form as of November 2025, attached file 06.
(III) The collaborating enterprise's contribution will be based on providing equipment for the industry-academia collaboration project. The enterprise must complete its internal approval process before applying and submit the approved evaluation documents along with the application.
(IV) Project leaders are encouraged to submit early-stage technology transfer applications for industry-academia collaboration to increase future technology derivative benefits and opportunities for commercializing R&D results.
